Overview
Panola Way Elementary School opened in 1986 and is located in Lithonia, Georgia. A new addition was added to original structure in 2004. Currently, our school serves students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Lithonia is a city in eastern DeKalb County, Georgia, United States, as well as a collection of unincorporated communities in which it shares its name. Lithonia is in the Atlanta metropolitan area. "Lithonia" means "city/town of stone". The City of Lithonia currently serves as one of the gateways to the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.

We believe that we can Achieve academic excellence and equity through standards-based instruction by highly qualified teachers; we Commit to promoting client involvement and delivering exemplary customer service promote positive interaction with parents and the community; we teach through technology and utilize all available resources to narrow the achievement gap.
